Bring your appetite, partner--Pizza Ranch is a friendly south metro salad bar and pizza and comfort food buffet! For the money ($10-12), Pizza Ranch is a good value. It's not my favorite pizza (Carbone's is better), but you also have salad, fried chicken, dessert pizza, fountain drinks, and more! Buffets are an endangered species. They are family friendly and fun! Pizza Ranch is a wholesome environment to bring the entire family! Military and senior discounts available. Just don't eat too much...
I love eating pizza on the ranch. Actually I like their chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy more, but the pizza is delicious too. This is a Christian (listen to the music piped in closely) all you can eat buffet. You pay a flat price the amount depending on if it's a weekend or weekday. It includes a fountain drink and dessert! It's a really great deal! Especially with a hungry baseball team full of teenagers! One of the best things, there are many in my opinion, is you can request a pizza and they'll bring it to your table first! I always do this for their taco pizza because it's rarely on the buffet. But as I mentioned above I prefer their chicken & mashed potatoes with gravy! The salad bar has a nice variety of items including two soup choices. The other most favorite is their dessert pizza AND soft serve ice cream - super yummy! The ranch/cowboy theme is entertaining especially with all of the fun accessories on the walls and shelves. But you really can't beat the good quality of food in an all you can eat setting. Plus the employees are wonderful about clearing your plates frequently so you don't feel like a monster after all of the trips to the four different food bars (pizza, chicken with fixings, salad, and dessert) Plus all the free refills on drinks. It really is a great deal pardner.
Yeah, Yeah I know. This place is terrible for my health and I totally feel like garbage after I eat here because I over ate like 2 pizzas ago. I know. But this is my guilty pleasure place, when I utterly want to engorge myself in cheese, carbs, and Cactus Bread (thank God for Cactus Bread). Keyword here folks is "buffet" so don't expect this place to be a Michelin - rated dining experience (proof that I'm not some uneducated dude who would gladly eat Spaghettios from a can if you are quick to judge), do people really expect silk napkin dining at establishments like this? This place is kinda like a Western themed Chuck E Cheese without all of the video games, screaming and crying, and creepy mice. Basically, what I am trying to say is that it is a family restaurant. Some people hate kids, if you are those people, don't come here. If you can get that through your head, you should be A-OK. As a family, it is nice to come here because kids can burn off energy in the basketball court and we seem to always be able to find something they want to eat which makes happier kids which in turn makes happier parents. I like Pizza Ranch in that they have unique flavors of pizza. I am not at all a purist when it comes to pizza flavors, if God created it, it probably will be somewhat decent on a pizza. And no, I'm not referring to it like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would and create an anchovies, jelly bean, and mushroom monstrosity but more like a Chicken Bacon Alfredo beauty. If you purely like cheese, sausage, or pepperoni pizza, then you will be OK but I implore you to wander from that boring box while here and give something else a try. Put a taco on pizza or put BBQ sauce on pizza, you are missing out. It is kinda funny how some people will give a bad review because PR's pizza is "too strange." Ha, OK. Anyways this location is pretty good. Food is rotated out pretty fast so that you are getting fresh food constantly. I don't think I have had better Cactus Bread than at this location. It literally melts in your mouth. Yum! Staff are all high school age it seems so you get the good and the bad that comes from that, just roll with it and you should be good to go.
One person reviewed saying they hate places like this. Well, I love places like this. A stuff your face full of food place to be exact. And if you love those kind of places too then this is a good one of those places. The staff is friendly and seem to be hard workers. The food in the buffet is good. I love love love the desert pizza. The best part though is if you don't like anything in the pizza buffet you can order a freshly made pizza, a perk included in the buffet price. The only extra thing you need to give is time while they make your pizza to order. Then you take what you want from it and the put the rest out on the line for others. If you don't enjoy stuffing your face with food this might not be the place for you. If you do then definitely give it a try!
We got to the Pizza Ranch with only 20 minutes left on the Lunch Buffet, but were told there was no hurry for us to eat quickly, the Buffet would be taken down when everyone gone, which was so nice not to be pressured into eating in a hurry... Like ALWAYS, food was hot, plentiful and the FRIED CHICKEN the BEST in the area! Will definitely go back and highly recommend!
